Easy Flatbread Pizza

The dough for this homemade flatbread pizza is super simple: it just uses flour and Greek yogurt! Greek yogurt has many incredible health benefits, including high amounts of protein and calcium. This is also a fun recipe to make because you get to make and roll out dough, so make these pizzas and have fun along the way!

Prep Time: 15 min

Cook Time: 10 min

Total Time: 25 min

Yield: approximately two 10-inch flatbreads


Materials

  • Mixing bowl

  • Two frying pans

  • Rolling pin and board

  • Spatula


Ingredients

  • Whole milk Greek yogurt

  • All-purpose flour

  • Pizza sauce

  • Shredded cheese

  • Veggies

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Cooking oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine one cup of flour with one cup of yogurt. You may also add a pinch of salt if you like.

  2. Mix and knead until dough comes together. Add more flour or yogurt as necessary.

  3. Lightly flour a rolling pin and board.

  4. Roll dough into desired shape.

  5. Saute vegetables of your choice with cooking oil in a pan on medium-high heat.

  6. Season vegetables with salt and pepper.

  7. Lightly oil a second pan and turn on to medium-low heat.

  8. Carefully place the flatbread into the pan.

  9. Wait for the flatbread to set on the bottom and then flip over.

  10. Spoon the pizza sauce on top, sprinkle the shredded cheese, and add the veggies.

  11. Remove the flatbread once the bottom is golden brown and the cheese has melted.

  12. Enjoy!
